Yesterday Toby and I went on an adventure to the nail salon so that I could get a pedicure. (He was cuddled up in the sling and loved the massaging chair.) But the best part was that, after years of trial and error, I finally stumbled upon the PERFECT red nail polish! Most reds are too bright or too dark, but Essie's Fishnet Stockings is just right and made me feel like a 1920's starlet (despite wearing a T-shirt covered in spit-up). I'm loving it and would highly recommend it. xoWednesday, 11 August 2010

Do you like camping?
Posted on 10:50 by gaurav kumar

We used to go on family camping trips every year. My dad would make bullet potatoes over the campfire and we'd ride bikes all day. But I have to say, I could never fully get into it. Camping felt so uncomfortable--sleeping on pebbles, peeing in the middle of the night, waking up freezing, worrying about bears sitting on your tent (that actually happened to my cousin). But, these days, I really want to give camping another shot, especially after seeing these gorgeous engagement photos. The fresh air looks revitalizing and wonderful! Do you like camping? Where do you like to go? I'd love to hear. xo
P.S. Look at these photos of Catalina Island and Kirby Cove!

Designer Tim Peet and his friends transformed an Eames chair into this awesome high chair, in an attempt to "break the status surrounding high design objects." Awesome.Monday, 9 August 2010
The kitten who couldn't jump

This is totally random, but I'm sleepy and punchy so I'm going to post it. So, here, ladies and gentlemen, is the kitten who couldn't jump.
P.S. I really love that she still tries! There's a life lesson in there. :)

Iceland wedding
Posted on 09:53 by gaurav kumar

Would you ever have a destination wedding? Where would you go? This Michigan couple invited their family and friends to Iceland, where they tied the knot in a teeny chapel. The portrait by the hot springs is so rad.P.S. Weddings in Jamaica, Manhattan and Sweden.
